The Staff Selection Commission administers the SSC MTS test to fill non-gazetted, non-ministerial General Central Service Group 'C' positions in various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Offices around the country. SSC MTS is a good opportunity for 10th grade graduates in India to acquire a government job.
On February 5, 2021, the Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) published the SSC MTS 2021 Official Notification. A Computer Based Test (Paper-I) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) will make up the MTS examination .
Important Dates
According to the most recent SSC schedule, the SSC MTS Paper-1 exam will be held from October 5th to November 12th, 2021. The Paper-I test had previously been postponed due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in India.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS 2021
Candidates must satisfy the following basic criteria in order to meet SSC MTS eligibility criterion 2021:
- A candidate must be an Indian citizen, a Nepalese/Bhutanese subject, a Tibetan refugee, or a person of Indian ancestry.
- Age Limit (as of January 1, 2021): According to the Recruitment Rules of different User Departments, the age limitations for the various posts are:
I) A candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old as on August 1, 2021. (i.e. candidates born between February 1, 1996 and January 1, 2003)
II) Between the ages of 18 and 27 as of the cut-off date (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003).
Candidates belonging to reserved groups are allowed age relaxation as per government rules, in addition to the above-mentioned Age Requirement.
- Candidates must pass class X from a recognized examination board.
